HYALOFAST® (Anika) is a 3D, biodegradable non-woven scaffold composed of HYAFF® (esterified hyaluronic acid) fibers. It is used in combination with mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) to support hyaline-like cartilage regeneration in the knee, the ankle and the hip. For optimal end result combine Hyalofast with NanoFX nanofracture.

The NANOFX® (Anika) system offers a “Smaller, Deeper, Better” solution compared to a standard microfracture procedure. The instruments consist of a reusable Hand Instrument, a single-use disposable PleuriStik™ Guide Wire and a reusable Thumb Tab Accessory used to perform a nanofracture procedure for the treatment of articular cartilage defects or where bone marrow stimulation is appropriate.
